Various Survey archeologists put together posts on their activities for the Day of Archaeology (July 26th). You can check out all the posts here to see what kinds of things archaeologists do on in their day-to-day work. Here is a list of archaeologists from the Survey who contributed posts:
- Dr. Jodi Barnes (station archaeologist at UA-Monticello) focused on the WWII POW camp near her station.
- Michelle Rathgaber (station assistant at Blytheville) offered a post on her daily kinds of work.
- Dr. Jamie Brandon (station archeologist at SAU in Magnolia) covers his entire year in a day.
- Dr. Carl Drexler [me] (station assistant at SAU in Magnolia) covered his week.
I’ll update this as more posts get posted.
